About Natalia
Natalia is a passionate Registered Dietitian dedicated to nutrition, promoting physical activity, and supporting healthy lifestyles. It is deeply connected to our culture, personal experiences, and the relationship we develop with food. Natalia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the National University of Colombia, where she developed a strong foundation in nutrition science and gained experience in sports nutrition. She also completed a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion at Algonquin College in Canada, allowing her to integrate nutrition, physical activity, and health promotion into her practice. Her multidisciplinary background supports a holistic approach to health, recognizing the important connection between nutrition, movement, and overall well-being. With over eight years of experience in performance nutrition, Natalia has worked with Paralympic, high-performance, and recreational athletes. She also supports patients in preventing and managing chronic diseases, achieving and maintaining a healthy weight, and improving digestive health through personalized nutrition strategies tailored to their individual needs and circumstances. Having been an athlete herself, Natalia understands the demands of training and the essential role nutrition plays in optimizing performance, supporting recovery, and maintaining overall health. She continues to lead an active lifestyle, having recently completed a 10 km race in 46 minutes and 8 seconds. Her approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and practicality. Natalia meets each person where they are, taking into account their individual circumstances, goals, culture, and lifestyle to help them make sustainable changes. Her goal is to empower individuals to develop a positive and balanced relationship with food while improving their health and long-term well-being.
