About Reham
Reham Alaini, RD, MSc, is a Registered Dietitian and Monash FODMAP-trained dietitian based in Ottawa. Passionate about nutrition and helping people improve their health and quality of life, she combines her strong academic background with diverse clinical experience to provide personalized, evidence-based nutrition care. She holds a Master of Science in Human Nutritional Sciences from the University of Manitoba, as well as a master’s degree in Human Nutritional Sciences from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Her experience spans clinical, community, and long-term care nutrition in Canada and internationally. Reham specializes in supporting adults with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other digestive concerns, weight management, diabetes and prediabetes, metabolic health, and chronic disease management. As a Monash FODMAP-trained dietitian, she takes a comprehensive approach to digestive health, considering the interactions between nutrition, lifestyle, the gut microbiome, and the gut-brain connection to help individuals better understand and manage their symptoms. Her approach is compassionate, practical, and individualized. Reham recognizes that nutrition care should never follow a one-size-fits-all approach. She tailors her recommendations to each person’s symptoms, health needs, goals, cultural background, food preferences, and lifestyle. Her goal is to help individuals make meaningful, sustainable changes while avoiding unnecessary dietary restrictions and maintaining the enjoyment of food. Reham is passionate about helping her clients improve their digestive health, build confidence in their food choices, and develop a healthier relationship with eating. She believes that effective nutrition care should be evidence-based, culturally sensitive, and realistic, empowering each person to feel their best and enjoy a better quality of life.
