About Rana
Rana Daoud, RD is a Registered Clinical Dietitian and the founder of DRRD Nutrition in Ottawa. She is dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve better health through evidence-based, personalized nutrition care. Rana supports clients with a wide range of health goals, including digestive health, weight management, chronic disease prevention and management, sports nutrition, fertility, prenatal nutrition, and family nutrition. Rana believes that nutrition should be practical, sustainable, and tailored to each person's unique lifestyle. Her approach combines the latest scientific evidence with compassionate, non-judgmental guidance, empowering clients to build healthy habits that fit their lives and create lasting results. With a strong academic foundation in both nutrition and behavioural sciences, Rana understands that lasting health goes beyond food choices. She incorporates strategies that consider the emotional, psychological, and social factors that influence eating habits and overall well-being. Education - Bachelor of Science (BSc) with a Specialization in Nutrition - Bachelor of Science (BSc) in General Social Sciences with a Minor in Psychology Outside of her practice, Rana is a proud mother of two who values creating a healthy, balanced, and peaceful home environment. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family and believes that wellness is built through small, meaningful habits that support both physical health and quality of life.
